In the heart of Torgiano, between Perugia and Assisi, Borgo Tre Vaselle, a historic Umbrian hospitality destination, is preparing to reopen in summer 2026. This project aims to enhance the connection between hospitality, wine, gastronomy, and the region, reviving the authentic identity of one of the villages that symbolizes regional winemaking.
Located within the medieval village of Torgiano, amidst stone alleys, vegetable gardens, and views of the Tiber Valley, Borgo Tre Vaselle returns to the center of Umbria's hospitality offering with a proposal that emphasizes the relationship with the landscape, local culture, and winemaking tradition.
One of the property's distinctive features is its historic connection to the Lungarotti family, a key player in promoting Umbrian wine on international markets and among the pioneers of Italian wine tourism. The property has been in the family since the 1970s and was transformed in 1978 into a relais dedicated to wine enthusiasts and visitors to the winery.
The project thus maintains a strong identity linked to the local winemaking culture, further strengthened by the presence in the village of the Wine Museum – MUVIT and the Olive and Oil Museum – MOO, managed by the Lungarotti Foundation.
