AG Group expands: new product strategies for Italy
The Italian inbound hospitality and tourism group, AG Group, presented to the press for the first time the lineup of its three divisions, united by the goal of positioning and growing in the luxury and lifestyle segment in Italy.
“After 25 years of history in the Roman hotel industry and the post-Covid corporate restructuring, AG Group is thinking in terms of governance, reorganizing its assets and dividing the business lines into AG Hotels for the management of the 6 4-star hotels in the capital, AG Boutique Journey for high-end incoming guests and AG Hotel Consulting for consultancy in hotel management and transformation” explains Andrea Girolami, president and CEO of AG Group.
With a total turnover of 47.5 million euros in 2025, a forecast of 88.8 million in 2026 and significant margins compared to competitors, “the new integrated, competitive and dynamic model maximizes the value of the structures in the upscale and luxury positioning”.
The strategy for the future strengthens the presence of 4 and 5-star hotels by entering into affiliations with Accor and Hyatt, expands the brand into art cities, secondary squares and iconic destinations, including Puglia, the Amalfi Coast and the Alpine arc, expands integrated services for the high-end range and attracts demand for consultancy in the hotel market.
"The long-term vision looks to financial solidity," including through asset disposals, such as Hyatt's 2021 rebranding of the Tornabuoni in Florence, which "has injected resources for the future," Girolami concludes.
