Emblems Collection by Accor announces three new luxury openings in Italy
Emblems Collection, a brand by Accor that celebrates intimate and authentic luxury, is expanding its presence in Italy with three exceptional new properties in Tuscany, Umbria, and Apulia, which will join the brand in 2026, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s growth in the country.
In collaboration with AG Group, the brand will breathe new life into three historic Italian residences, transforming these iconic landmarks into exclusive properties, each with its own distinctive personality.
The first is Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti, set to open in Siena under the Emblems Collection flag in mid-2026. Just steps from Piazza del Campo, the palace will feature 38 rooms nestled among secret gardens, ancient grottos, and original 19th-century frescoes. A serene spa will further enhance the guest experience.
The second property, located in the lush region of Umbria, is Relais San Clemente, which will reopen as part of Emblems Collection in mid-2026 as an exclusive 51-room estate, including 9 private villas and a rich wellness offering.
Formerly a Benedictine convent, the retreat is set within a 40-hectare park of centuries-old trees near Perugia, where silence, design, and sacred heritage blend in perfect harmony. At the heart of the property stands a consecrated chapel dedicated to Saint Clement.
The third property is Masseria Furnirussi in Apulia, which will join Emblems Collection in mid-2026. It will offer 60 suites, most with private pools, a full-service spa, and authentic experiences that celebrate Mediterranean craftsmanship and lifestyle.
Nestled within Europe’s largest fig orchard, this refined masseria reinterprets traditional Salento architecture using local white stone, and is surrounded by a vibrant garden of fruit trees, aromatic herbs, and native plants.
“I’m thrilled about these three new additions—truly unique destinations that perfectly reflect the spirit of Emblems Collection: intimate and exclusive luxury with a profound sense of place and time. This is the essence of the Emblems brand: the promise of discovering one-of-a-kind locations deeply rooted in their history and heritage, where simplicity and sophistication come together,” said Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems.
With this triple addition, Emblems Collection grows its Italian portfolio to four luxury properties, and expands to a total of seven announced hotels globally.
